4th of july

Part of the crew got together for the 4th at my parents. The kids swam in the big pool and little pool. Then Bea lead Cordelia and Iggy chanting U.S.A.

3rd of july

The Scarsella's hosted us for the 3rd of July again. Glow sticks, Megan's cookies and loads of fireworks. Cordelia loved being in the mix and lounging with her cookie.

pride parade

The pride parade can get a little crazy, so we went to the staging again this year. Wow. The girls were in hog heaven with the music, sequins, colors and attention. Lots of attention from the participants.

Cordelia was dancing so hard that I thought she's break the pedals off her trike.

Then there was love and affection on top of all that dancing. Such a fun time for everyone.

summer show!

This was our first summer show at Rainforest. The shows are always secret, so we had no idea what to expect. Rainforest Goes Back In Time. Fun!

There was popcorn as you headed to your seat. You know I grabbed some.

Always a fresh fruit or vegetable as a parting gift.

A time machine contraption to take us to each decade during the show

The wee little one did the stone age / flintstones

Cordelia's group.

A Flapper! Cordelia loves to dance but didn't find her groove until the end.

Bea was the 60's.

Here are the two main directors Jessica and Jay. This is the 10th anniversary of Rainforest and they were getting a little misty.

Whaaaaat!? Ahahahaha!!

They did the twist. No wonder Bea kept talking about the twist at dinner.

Bea and Cordelia loved being up on stage and being part of such a special night.

refreshments

We took a long bike ride to Oak Street Beach and stopped to have some refreshments before heading back. Bea had her first root beer and held it like it was the Holy Grail. Loud LOUD slurps and beaming with pride. Cordelia was hot footing it around to anyone that would have her.

art in the park

Mid June means that Art in the Park is back at school! This is Bea and Cordelia's first time.
Miss Mayra and the "other Leo". We are always asking Bea to clarify between cousin Leo and School Leo. She loves them both and talks about them often.
Gasp! Miss Flora is comforting sweet Coco Rose.

Bea's class playing duck duck goose.

This is Cordelia's buddy Will and one of her teachers Miss Jenn.
