Adventure time means heading towards the lake with no plan other than to burn off energy and enjoy the great outdoors. Oh look! Cricket Hill!

We brought treasure jars for the kids to fill with whatever excites them.

citymade fest

This year was the inaugural year for CityMade Fest. I took only a few pictures, the rest were videos. Man do these girls like to dance and have a good time.

elliott's birthday party

Bea got invited to the birthday of her school friend Elliott. Elliott is still at the old school (we moved the girls to a new location about a month ago), so I was interested to see how it would go.

Apparently Bea was all Elliott talked about, even her out-of-town grandparents couldn't wait to meet Bea

Now what's interesting here, is Bea sharing in this family moment, stoically standing guard. Elliott shares the birthday thrown with her brother and her parents lovingly lean in whispering sweet birthday wishes. The rest of the party is on the other side. But not Bea. There she is. Hands down by her sides representing...something. I just hand no idea about this level of this friendship.

headbands and art fests

One of the few times Cordelia was still and in my line of sight at the Lakeview Arts Festival.

Bea waited patiently for this kitty cat. She still exclusively uses a Russian accent when saying "kitty cat"

The only other time Cordelia was still. And she wasn't just toddling or sauntering away, she was all out booking it. We had 8 adults wrangling her. This sweet face will deceive you.

piggies

Cordelia's hair has been growing like a weed and she is finally letting me do something with it. These piggies would be categorized as "white-knuckle" piggies, as I was gritting my teeth and scooting after her on my bare knees to make it work.

first colt's game of the season

Who are these two goofs? Especially Bea. Both girls were very excited to head out the watch the first Colts game of the season. They were only showing it on one TV in the corner and there was only a high top for our sitting pleasure.

brent's 3rd birthday

Bea has some buddies from her old school that still try and keep us in the loop. Her friend Brent was kind enough to not only invite but to his 3rd birthday, but our entire family.

The party was packed with activities surrounding the Curious George theme, the kids got to make their own monkey bread.

Cordelia is never one to miss a party, but within 30 minutes she was out of her party shoes and into her sturdy keens.
