Beatrix was dying to get back to the beach. So we went for a dip on the 4th. I guess I have never been to the beach on the 4th of July. Well, maybe i have, but I swear it had to be different. So many people, so many over flowing garbage cans and so many sandy sloppy people. It was a little unappealing. It was also closed a couple days earlier for a high bacteria count. We thought about just turning around but Bea was gasping with excitement. So we played for a few minutes and then dipped our feet in the water. It was a quick trip and Bea did NOT want to leave. She made Scott carry her all the way home.
