in the blink of an eye

If you look closely in the previous post, you can totally see the two new teeth coming in on the bottom. How we never noticed is beyond me, and now those choppers are pretty much in. That makes eight teeth! If the teeth don't make Bea look like less of a baby, the walking certainly does. She has been taking a step here and there for a week or two. This past weekend turned into the real deal. I'd say the longest run has been about 5 feet before she takes a tumble. Hopefully we can catch it on film soon, but I left my camera in El Segundo. I gotta get, I got-got ta get it.

teeth make me hungry

Saturday we went up to one of Scott's favorite places, Ba Le Bakery. Before we left, Bea had a full lunch spread. As soon as we got there, she started eating her toy.

Oh look at Dad perusing the deliciousness.

Then Bea flashed her grill and said "count 'em up, five teeth, I'm ready for this".

As you can see, Bea has been one busy little lady. Playing with her stuffed friends, eating boatloads of food and sprouting teeth. Occasionally Bea likes to grind these new teeth. It sounds like she's chewing on rocks. Tiny, grating, bone chilling rocks. It really is the sweetest.

Post nap, Bea seemed really receptive to some lame jokes. It was all just to get these pearly whites on camera. Well worth it.

Two teeth, lots of drool and constant loose stool. Poor Beanut has a raw rump but she sure is enjoying the easy breezy air-it-out time.
