Beatrix met her new cousin Ignatius this weekend. Seems like Bea was a little more into Ignatius than he was into her. Sorry Bea, but I think your growling wasn't so welcoming.

bea makes a splash

We took Bea swimming for the first time this weekend. Helllooo Beanut. She was kicking and splashing and having a good ol' time.

oh, I've got legs

This weekend Beatrix finally found her legs. All of a sudden - out of the blue. She isn't pulling herself up yet, heck no. She just stays put when placed on her feet.

teeth make me hungry

Saturday we went up to one of Scott's favorite places, Ba Le Bakery. Before we left, Bea had a full lunch spread. As soon as we got there, she started eating her toy.

Then Bea flashed her grill and said "count 'em up, five teeth, I'm ready for this".

Beatrix was surprised to find that the laundry basket was not nearly as comfortable as her stuffed friends led her to believe. So disappointing.

I have a new appreciation for the weekend. One of my faaaaaavorite parts of it...mornings with Bea. That has a nice ring to it, Mornings with Bea. Maybe we will have our own daytime slot.
