may 7th = coco rose is 2 years old

I cannot believe how fast these two years have gone. And how much Cordelia has changed! From that swollen round face with dark hair...to this puffy dandelion!
Coco got another wear out of her borrowed "2" outfit and wore it on her actual bday to school.

this is her TWOooooo face

She got to pick a special birthday crown and had mini carrot cupcakes at school. Our little lady also licked a bunch of the cupcakes to help entice her friends to join her in celebrating.

cordelia's 2nd birthday party

A few days before her actual bday, we had family over to celebrate sweet coco being TWO.

Apparently Cordelia was insisting on holding Lucia. How could you not?

I love her sweet face while we sang happy birthday.

A highlight of the gift opening was an ELSA wig.

Bea is so mothering at times. Making sure coco is comfy and enjoying her new wig.

oh, well look who else is enjoying the new wig.

By the end of the party, the girls were in their castle fighting over the Elsa wig. Success!

easter 2014

Holiday mornings are so much fun with the littles, and Easter is no exception.

I think Cordelia was eating tissue along with the candy. Desperate breathy fistfuls of sweets.

After we enjoyed our easter baskets and got dolled up, we headed down to Indiana to see if we could meet up with the Easter Bunny.

holy easter eggs! It's him!

The girls were so lucky to see the EB and get a full blown easter egg hunt!

Nancy and the Easter Bunny

I loved this entire exchange between these two ladies. They got closer and closer to one another as Cordelia slooowly drew on her face with chalk.

eggstravaganza at the park

The local park held a "Eggstravaganza" for Easter. The face painting station was manned by two men. Two park district men. Bea requested a full bunny face and the poor guy nervously googled it on his phone! Then he used a dry brush to carefully try and meet her request. It was so sweet.

There was a highly competitive easter egg hunt that was not worth the effort in my eyes. But the girls left with little treat bags, hand in hand.

Before the easter festivities Bea had tee-ball, Cordelia was confused why she wasn't on the field.

Bea looks rather engaged here. But believe you me, there was lots of pleading and hand holding.
