an uplifting 9/11

After watching Good Morning America's 9/11 Special, I felt the need to be patriotic yet fun. I squeezed Bea into her dress and headband. All she wanted to do was eat and drink beer.

brace yourselves

She's coming for us, all of us.

german-american fest

This past Saturday we met some friends at German-American fest. Lincoln Square really knows how to celebrate. We brought Bea's floral crown from Maifest and lots and lots of food for the lady. The costumes, music and performances were really authentic. And so was the food and beer. It was hard to say if Bea wanted the beer or the band more.

showoff

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit two Saturdays ago and Beatrix was a wild woman. She was doing head stands, climbing on ev-er-y-thing and rolling around like a little animal. It was really apparent that she was showing off to her Grandma and Grandpa.

bea's OTHER best friend

Since we aren't planning on getting Bea a real dog, we thought about the next best thing. A fake, battery-operated, not-supposed-to-shed-but-does, barking, whimpering, semi-circle walking little dog! Oh the sheer joy it brings Bea. She loooooves this nameless dog.
