minocqua 2013

Cordelia was meant for the water. Wind in her hair. Sun on her face. She loved it. Her expression here is "put me on that mother hubbard tube and pull me behind the mother hubbard boat before someone gets hurt".
Bea was not nearly as excited as I had hoped. But after another shot, she was all about the "water couch".

Cousin snuggle time with Uncle Marc.

Bosski's Bachelorette Bonanza!

Geeeeze Cordelia.

At the Thirsty Whale!

Cece and Hailey  - partners in crime.

Esme was miserable all week.

Paul Bunyan? Heck Yea! This logging breakfast is always a hit with the Pearsons and Scarsellas.

Rainy days mean...adventure days! Grab your mossy stick and climb up on that slippery stump. We're going to have a good time if it kills us!

The Bearskin Trail goes for miles and miles, and we've got nothing but time and gray skies.

Obsessed with the umbrella and making adults get under it with her.

Pizza party to wrap up our rainy day adventure fest!

Pressed against Olivia, Liv, Livvie, one of my girls.

Cordelia never lets me do her hair, but she DOES let me put in headbands!

Lakeside Landing. Throw yo hands in the air - if you on an Adirondack chair!

Maddy and Annie on our sunset cruise.

This is right before we found a lone kayak/sail boat. We slowly approached just in case, but it seemed like it was just never tied up and got washed out by the waves. A new obsession was born and Bea has asked to hear the floating boat story, 43 times since. She also wants to talk about Camp Kawaga, Bakers Acres and Rainbow Bay (or the misbehaving story).

Vincent, Finn, Quinlan, Bea and Gus.

land o' lakes here we come!

Bea and Cordelia did a pretty darn good job on the ride to Land O' Lakes.

All Bea could talk about was "the girls". She was so happy to be part of ANYTHING that they were doing.

Dusk dance party.

Fishing with the kids and a few adults.

The fishing trip was successful in the amount of fish caught and laughs had, but not so successful in the wads of fishing line tangled around some of us, fishing hooks in others, and most importantly Bea falling over board. Megan jumped in first and Bea had her vest on thank god. I jumped in once freed from the line. Holy Cow was it terrifying. All three of us caught in fishing line and hooks. A few minutes later we were all able to laugh. Really hearty laughs.

tungsten 74 boat cruise

Scott and I were lucky enough to go on a boat cruise with the T74 gang, where I have been since February. We toasted the past year's success and look forward to all that is to come!

Originally we were on a 41 foot speed boat, which then had some mechanical problems and got sent back to Belmont Harbor. Not a problem because we got switched over to a sail boat! What a totally different experience.

The weather was a little gloomy but we all had a great time. Ed and Nancy had the girls for a few nights, so we were set! Such an incredible treat all around!

splash park

Cordelia looks a bit like her Great Grandma Pearson here.

Bea is barely waiting her turn for the slide.

Bea's friend for the day...Tabitha.
