crisp sunday

The weather was so crisp and breezy that we decided to go on a brisk family walk along the lake. It was a little bit empty, but we did run into Mayor Rahm! He was dressed in legit running gear and was running at an impressive speed. I was surprised he had no security with him. We then caught some beginners sailing lessons that were very entertaining. The wind and their experience made for lots of tips and people in the water. It actually looked pretty fun. Afterwards Bea was all about Dad. Sitting and watching Dad.

halloween

For the actual day of Halloween, Beatrix wore some seasonal garb (no costumes the day of). When we got home from work, we shoved Bea into a bunny costume and gave her some dinner on the road in her stroller. The costume was perfect for the frigid temps. We walked up north and went to a neighborhood known for their decorations and candy and wow was it packed. Bea wanted to be held or in her stroller - no walking shots. We were only out for a little bit and managed to make it up to one house. Bea just put out her hand for the candy. Come to think of it, I think we ended up throwing her one piece away.

almost halloween

The Saturday before Halloween meant dressing up as a chick and parading around. Be a sort of hated it because her range of motion was very limited. She was SO cute though.

new toys new toys

Bea was lucky enough to get a bunch of new toys for her birthday. Each one is a big deal to her. Lots of action and reaction. At the end of one afternoon, we wanted to get outside and wear "that fleece vest of Esme's that we've been saving".  I don't think it was supposed to be a pit digger.

bea's 12 month appointment

Bea's 12 Month appointment was one of the harder ones. She pulled through with the support of her lion and pear hair clip. No surprise that Bea is in the 99th percentile.
