Cordelia makes such tweetie little noises. Usually they are happy tweets, but sometimes they turn into puppy whimpers. I like to call her birdie when she tweets and flutters her arms.
This year was much different than before. Cordelia was just a peach and Bea was always having too much fun. I think my heart was always beating out of my chest worrying about something Beanut was about to do. It is such a great place for all of the cousins to spend some quality time, and for the adults to have some kid-free fun too. It really is hands down my most favorite time of year.
We did a super-fast-last-minute trip to the neighborhood fest Summer on Southport. Last year Bea was too little for the kids section, and this year she was a little too chicken. She sat the entire time in the bouncy and then slooooowly climbed up the slide before being rescued. But she came back guns a blazin' when she ate octopus, fish flakes and a bunch of other adult food. Cordelia took a pass on the taste test.
