weekday mornings with bea

I've talked about mornings with Bea before. Now there are weekEND mornings and then there are weekDAY mornings. Usually I don't get the chance to take any pictures during the week. But Bea taunted me with ridiculousness while I did my makeup. At one point I think she was in disbelief at the steps I take for beauty, then the next minute she was telling me to go on with my bad self.

happy 4th of july!

Beatrix was dying to get back to the beach. So we went for a dip on the 4th. I guess I have never been to the beach on the 4th of July. Well, maybe i have, but I swear it had to be different. So many people, so many over flowing garbage cans and so many sandy sloppy people. It was a little unappealing. It was also closed a couple days earlier for a high bacteria count. We thought about just turning around but Bea was gasping with excitement. So we played for a few minutes and then dipped our feet in the water. It was a quick trip and Bea did NOT want to leave. She made Scott carry her all the way home.

Who is this baby? Why does Bea look so different?

This weekend we went to visit Bea's Grandma and Grandpa. Not only did we get to hang out with G & G, but also Uncle Kevin and Great Grandma Pearson. I only took a handful of pictures, but you can see that Bea doesn't mind headbands or hats or Berber carpeting.

Bea got a package in the mail from Auntie Barb. Can you guess what it was? BOOM! I hope Bea's hair is long enough next year for real patriotic piggies. We love them so much and will see how many times we can wear them in the next few days.
