adams playground

Adams playground has been written up as one of the city's "hidden gems", so we went this past weekend to check it out. The pictures don't really do it justice, especially since I only took pictures of the water features side. It was such a cute little place. Tons of equipment, sandbox with plenty of toys and little rock formations to climb on. The real show stealer was the water though. It's a good thing we didn't bring Bea's suit, because she wouldn't have wanted to go in. She even went down the water slide. Cordelia just kicked and grinned in the Bjorn as she watched her older sister.

what happens next

Both Bea and Cordelia wring their hands in anticipation of what happens next.

school art

The kids started a new daycare that is an "environmental school of the arts". The teachers are only allowed to do 20% of the work. So Bea was more than happy to share one of her first pieces. Cordelia has yet to do anything, but I am told that infants do pottery! More to come!

happy 6 years!

To celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary, we packed up the double wide (stroller) and headed to The Dock at Montrose beach. Kind of a drizzly gray day, and that worked out just fine with our lunch plans. Cordelia was a little sleepy and Bea was a lot hammy. All of these new faces and smiles are her "Leo" faces. Not imitating him, but making faces for him.

why yes

Yes that is Cordelia on a swing. She clings to dear life with one hand as her older sister offers her a comforting hand while screaming CorDEEYAH!

after naps

right at home

On a walk, and right up a random house's front steps and then quickly back down again. I think Bea is working her way up to ding dong ditch.
