our sickies

Bea had her first ear infection. She barely complained and was actually sweeter than normal. She gets that from her Dad. I am always suspicious when there is extra sweetness.

Cordelia, just a little flu and a boat load of cuteness. I would never have known she wasn't feeling well if it weren't for a high temp. Both girls are a-ok after some time at home.

Bea and I ran some errands while the furnace men were at work. We have been meaning to check out this new park for months and months, but the basketball court always drew some older kids. So I thought the colder temps would keep them indoors. When we got there we had the whole place to ourselves. By the look on Bea's face you can clearly see when that changed.

once upon a time

Not too long ago, there was just enough snow for two kids to play outside. They went in the yard with their parents and used up every last inch of the fresh snow. If there isn't enough snow for us, we certainly won't leave any for the neighbor kids!

on the move

Miss Cordelia is growing and moving. She lunges for food and drink and is a sort of secret scooter. One minute she is next to you and the next minute she is under a chair. The scooting has reached such heights that her bum is paying the price. Little scootin' pimps.

hey! hey! look at mommy!

For some unknown reason, both Cordelia and Bea have been drawn to football. They actually want to watch it. This better change, they are supposed to be m'girls, my ladiez, my partners in crime! They must have realized I felt left out and gave me some charity smiles - if that's what you want to call it.

great idea bea!

While putting away the Christmas decorations, Bea became obsessed with these socks (or stockings, as you and I would know them). She demanded that I put them on her. I couldn't believe how PERFECTLY they fit. How CUTE! She then proceeded to jig all around the house, thundering with her heels and clanging the bells.
