mother's day pic-a-nic
Sunday afternoon we went to the lakefront to celebrate Mother's Day with my two sweetums. It was gorgeous, warm and sunny right until the first wheel of the stroller hit daylight. It made for some cozy laughs and Beanut loved being bundled up with her Dad. I would show you some Mom and daughter pictures, but I look like such a creep that there might be an Amber Alert issued.
Ignatius Francis is here!
Ignatius Francis and his apricot hair came into the world on Mother's Day! 7lbs 7oz and 20". Lots of sweetness. Congratulations Laura and Michael!
that hat and sweater
Bea loves this hat and sweater. She insisted on wearing Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning |
She loved being bounced in the baby carrier as we walked to the park. |
But Bea got all shy once in the swing. |
Refusing to hold on, Bea looked like those people that walk without swinging their arms. |
Sunday Morning, our first Mother's day! We went out to a sinfully good breakfast. |
There was a bit of a long wait, so we enjoyed the sunshine with Sophie. |
chuckles
I am not sure if it was Olivia or Esmé responsible for this hearty laughter. Maybe it was Aunt Aimee and her wild hand gestures.

emmett is 2!
These are just a few randoms from Emmett's birthday party last weekend. I never captured the b-day boy, but I did capture some really good grins from some of the gals.

happy easter!
Beatrix Fallyn, that's me! |
Well well, look who's not afraid of the Easter Bunny |
And it looks like the Easter Bunny's mouth-eye is subtly surprised by brave Bea. |
Bea loves her Grandma! |
Sunday we went to Indy for Easter. Bea was so lucky to meet the Easter Bunny before he hopped on down the road. Grandma and Grandpa got to hear all of Bea's jibber jabber. Bea was so taken by the bountiful Easter spread that when the Jello jiggled, she said "what IS that!?" Well, maybe. She also showed off some new moves, scoots and toots.
