bending and climbing

Bea has really stepped up her game and started climbing. Back bends, flopping around and climbing. I have to admit, we encouraged her a teensy bit with a cute little black step stool. She would have been a fool not to take us up on it. I am sure we will soon be cursing ourselves when she uses that same cute little stool to open the fridge or bring down the tv or turn on the stove.

more snow time

Now that Bea has some better fitting mittens and boots, we were able to spend a little bit more time outside. She seemed less into the sled and more into watching Scott shovel. Some neighbors were getting ready to head out and Bea wanted to get in their mini-van with them. Even though they were NEXT door neighbors, that was the first time we had met them.

sledding

Last week when we had some snow, we shoved Bea into her snow suit and pulled her around outside for a few minutes. Scott was really tearing through it at one point and I swear there was a wake behind her.

rahm round II

We had another run-in with Rham Emanuel, this time it got personal. A few Saturdays ago we went out for some Mexican and ended up at the same spot as the Mayor. They sat us right next to Rahm, Scott and him were back-to-back. I couldn't bring myself to take a picture of him. He was so nice to us up front, saying hi, making sure we were already helped, etc. So I took a pic of Bea shoveling in the guacamole. We finished dinner at about the same time and got up to leave. Rahm then turned to Scott and said "How's it goin' big guy?" Then he went in and rubbed Bea's bulging tummy and she burst into tears!!

There is definitely something special between Beatrix and Scott. She loves him and she loves his stuff. Two of her favorites are his boots and blue colts hat.

Lately Bea has been interested in taking the keys and attempting to ditch us.

christmas day

My parents, Scott's parents and brothers and KR came over to celebrate Christmas. It was so nice to have everyone over. We were all spoiled with lots of gifts and loads of food. Bea loved being at home and showing off her room and new should shrugs.
